SAP Basis SCM Consultant - Barcelona - English speaking - Interviews immediately for the right consultants
DSR Europe is currently looking for a SAP Basis SCM Consultant for a 12 month contract in sunny Barcelona. What a way to spend your Summer.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of new SCM systems
- DR configuration and installation for SCM solution (Including Livecache replication)
- Technical administration, tuning and monitoring of the SCM including livecache and optimizer systems.
- Connectivity to other systems BI/ECC/XI/Portal
- Live Cache and Optimizer administration.
- Provide technical support for the functional and project teams.
- Transport system administration and configuration
- System and client copies
- Upgrades/Support Packs/Addons
- Provide support for all technical activities during project "go-lives".
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure/HP and DBA teams.
- Cross train team members and off-shore production support teams.
- Although SCM/APO will be main focus, this role will also help with other systems activities in the SAP landscape
- Provide documentation with procedures for system administration tasks.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of SAP Basis experience including implementation and support on SCM/APO environments. - Knowledge on DP and SNP modules
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Previous experience in system administration (Unix), DBA or computer programming/development would be a bonus but not essential
