Description
5 year fixed term contract, Luxembourg, 4,500 -6,000 Euro's per month depending on experience + other benefits and 16% upto salary. Must be an EU member. The successful candidate will drive the development, implementation and maintenance of the Loans Monitoring Suite software and other bespoke Back Office applications (eg Rate setting, Liquidity planning).
Qualifications
- FullUniversitydegree preferably in computer science or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of relevant IT professional experience, in a financial environment, preferably in loans administration or Back Office treasury
- Solid practical experience in Java, Sybase ASE, PL/SQL, JBoss, JSF, EJB, Hibernate, Datastage, Linux and Business Object Web Intelligence
- Good knowledge of project management principles, methods and practices.
- Ensure that systems implemented are in line with IT policies and that qualitative and quantitative objectives are achieved
- Propose improvements and implement the necessary processes, procedures, IT standards, methodologies and working tools in own domain
- Take project management responsibilities for assigned IT projects, coordinating, scheduling and implementing enhancements for the Loans Monitoring Suite.
- Take responsibility for carrying out maintenance and further development of the applications in the scope of the Unit
- Work proactively to solve problems with other application teams, with Application Technical Support (ATS) and end-users
- Coordinate and supervise, in collaboration with the Unit Head, an external IT team so as to ensure the delivery of expected solutions to internal business customers
