Description
5 year fixed term contract, Luxembourg, Must be a member of the EU. Negotiable minimum 4, Euros per month depending on experience.
- Full University degree preferably in computer science or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of relevant IT professional experience, in a financial environment, preferably in loans administration or Back Office treasury
- Solid practical experience in Sybase ASE, PL/SQL, Python, XML and Linux
- Good knowledge of project management principles, methods and practices

Accountabilities
- Ensure that systems implemented are in line with IT policies and that qualitative and quantitative objectives are achieved
- Propose improvements and implement the necessary processes, procedures, IT standards, methodologies and working tools in own domain
- Take project management responsibilities for assigned IT projects, coordinating, scheduling and implementing enhancements for the Commercial Lending Management module
- Knowledge of the financial software "Wallstreet Suite - Commercial Lending Management" or other banking Back Office solutions (eg Misys, Murex, Temenos) will be an advantage.
- Strong practical experience of Sybase ASE, PL/SQL, Python, XML and Linux.
- Take responsibility for carrying out maintenance and further development of the applications in the scope of the Unit
- Work proactively to solve problems with other application teams, with Application Technical Support (ATS) and end-users
- Coordinate and supervise, in collaboration with the Unit Head, an external IT team so as to ensure the delivery of expected solutions to internal business customers
- Fluent in English must commit to learning French. Must have relevant documents/permit/passport to work in EU.
