We are recruiting a Marketing Manager for a college specialized in Digital Technology. This institution is a world-class digital destination developing talented individuals and leading-edge businesses through learning, skills, applied research, enterprise and innovation.

Purpose of the role:
To work alongside the Business Development Manager - Marketing to develop new market opportunities. This role has a particular focus on marketing undergraduate course programmes, by Clusters, in conjunction with the Business Development Manager - Marketing.
The post-holder will demonstrate sound knowledge of market needs and trends in the design and broadcast sectors and be able to work with colleagues to drive growth in course development, attendance and student numbers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment marketing
Working with Marketing and Communications staff, in conjunction with the Business Development Manager - Marketing, to lead the development and delivery of undergraduate recruitment marketing strategies to increase student numbers and achieve course targets.
To contribute to the delivery of an annual programme of student recruitment events, including Open Days, Careers Fairs, and a programme of national events.
To liaise with schools and colleges and co-ordinate outreach activities, working with the academic link tutors.
To evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activity and recruitment events, undertake market research, and monitor market needs and trends, in order to make informed recommendations for future business development.

Other duties
To capture customer data, maintain contacts databases, and ensure timely follow up from all marketing, business development and student recruitment activity.
To support other Marketing and Communication Team Members monitoring departmental budgets.
To liaise with external contractors in the procurement of services.
Vacant
To adhere to the Workplace Smoking Policy.
To ensure that guests to the College are given appropriate health and safety information on arrival.
To comply with legislative requirements as it relates to the job, including the Data Protection Act, Equal Opportunities, Freedom of Information Act, health and safety obligations.

Experience
At least three years relevant work experience
Experience of recruitment marketing activities
Experience of the digital media, broadcast and design sectors
Experience of market research and analysis
Experience of working in complex project teams

Knowledge
Understanding of digital design and/or broadcast media industries
Knowledge of UKBA Tier 4 application requirements and regulations
Educated to degree
Relevant professional qualification
