Description

The EHS Administrator role is a hands-on role responsible for providing EHS support to the EHS Specialist over a 3 - 4 month period during the summer of 2012.

Job Specification

  • All EHS administrative work
  • Setting up/assisting with a document control system for EHS Procedures, Work Instructions and Forms
  • Setting up a document system for COSHH Assessments and PUWER Assessments
  • Raising of Purchase Orders
  • Assisting with arranging EHS Training, Meeting Rooms and refreshments
  • Drawing up of incident reports/4-Blocker
  • Assisting with any necessary work to fulfil the gaps for ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
  • Assisting in preparation of EHS communications
  • Writing of EHS minutes
  • Producing a Newsletter for Suppliers
  • Creating a maintenance schedule for all equipment as part of PUWER Assessment process

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to write reports using Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
