My client a large UK bank are currently recruiting for a Front Office Project manager to work on a large E-trading programme which is part of the Credit & Rates business.
Role Details:
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
Managing a suite of projects including pricing tools and small change priority projects
Building relationships with senior business stakeholders/department heads
Detailed planning and ensuring projects are delivered to the plan and risk and issues are effectively managed
Relationship with development managers/technology PMs
Facilitate and chair project working group meetings consisting of IT and business representatives
Status reporting per project
Business Analysts tasks
Working closely with the Test Manager to ensure solution is adequately tested
Business Change activities especially implementation of changes to business processes

Required Skills:
5+ years Fixed Income Front Office Derivatives experience as a project manager
Appreciation of the full trade life cycle for an IRS
Must have good e-trading knowledge of IRS, exposure to a multi-dealer platform, connectivity with Tradeweb, Bloomberg and other ECNs.
Understanding/experience of Rates Products (esp. IRS) and related business processes. Proven track record in Business analysis for new business/product implementations within an Investment Bank, being able to make appropriate Risk/Value assessments and propose a range of realistic and appropriate remedies
Ideally the candidate will have previously been part of an implementation of an E-trading IRS solution in an investment bank
5+ years of industry experience, in either a relevant Consultancy role or with Tier 1/2 Investment Banking environment
Highly developed skills in producing detailed business requirements and use of presentation toolsets such as MS PowerPoint and Visio
Maintains a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise/multi-task to deliver business value and meet project objectives
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation including Senior Executives, Front Office and Infrastructure/Support individuals
Strong sense of accountability and ownership over Project key deliverables and realisation of Business value
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, builds trust and confidence with colleagues and management teams
