Environment Configuration Managers Sydney CBD
Contract roles (Mid/senior levels)
Essentially 2 X Windows Administrators
Duration: 6 months +
Our client is a major financial organisation who has an attractive project that requires highly skilled Windows Administrators with the following skills and experience;
Technical
- RDMS - MSSQL Server 2000, 2005 & 2008 and (MS) SQL programming languages
- Applications/Platforms: Eaglepace, Charles River, Statpro, SS&C Pages applications
- Windows Operating Systems - Desktop (Windows XP, 7) and Server (Windows 2003, 2008)
- Servers: MS IIS, WebSphere, Web server setup administration and support (IIS5, IIS6, ASP, Asp, .Net, Java)
- Networking background: Data networks, configuration and IP security.
- Application reviews, reverse engineering (experience required in Wireshark, Fiddler or other similar tools)
- Source control tools ( VSS, SVN, Cruise Control )
- Configuration Management tools: Visual Build
- K nowledge of Windows Scripting and Microsoft programming languages C# & ASP .Net, VBA/S, Powershell,
- Knowledge of the following Environments - ESX VMware, VMware Service Manager, Citrix
Experience required
- 5+ years of software development and/or production support experience
- Experience in ITIL and other operational processes
- Experience in working with outsource partners
- Experience in working within a High Availability architecture
