IT Alliance is currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect with Unified Communications experience for a 6 month role based in Dublin West.

Role Purpose & Vision
A professional service delivery capability is a key requirement for the solutions now sold to clients Business customers. These solutions typically have multiple elements including, telecommunications infrastructure, CPE, IT applications, third party components and include consultative engagements. The successfully delivery of these elements requires best practice technical design combined with experience and quality on-site delivery.

The role of the solutions architect is to perform at the highest level within their technical discipline and become a trusted advisor to the clients's customer base. The solutions architect will also feed into the design teams where necessary with responsibility for ensuring quality of design and implementation ease.

Key Accountabilities

  • Input to proposals where specific technical authority is required.
  • Handover of project documentation in a formal manner to operations service colleagues and to Customers.
  • Be available to work in the Managed Service Centre for up to three months a year and participate in a 24x7 on-call rota for this period.
  • Design and implement solutions based on existing portfolio eg Cisco, Avaya, NICE, Verint, and Microsoft etc which are underpinned by a solid understanding of IP Networking, Routing and Security.
  • Provide clarity where technical & business complexity exists and be competent in highlighting solution options
    necessary to aid decision making.
  • Employ a consultative approach with strategic thinking, innovative problem solving, and outstanding leadership in
    delivering exceptional results.
  • Take full responsibility for providing technical clarity and earning customer trust from a technical
    standpoint.
  • Promote specific area of expertise with the industry and clients as a leader in the marketplace
  • Articulate complex technologies in terms of business capability and possess excellent technical writing skills with the ability to formulate detailed customer proposals based on business requirements
  • Input to proposals where specific technical authority is required.
  • Input to the development of suitable solution bundles to address customer needs, including input to selection of new products and partners.
  • Production of high level & low level design documents
  • Assist in the closure of sales opportunities through the demonstration of technical capability and trusted
    advisor relationship.
  • Input to the creation of accurate project plans, test strategies, handover documentation etc.
  • Interface with Sales, Pre-sales, Service, Product Management and other areas as necessary to ensure the explicit
    objectives of the role are delivered upon.
  • Generate pull through revenue on engagements through the identification of technological solutions or enhancements following on from initial engagements.
  • Support the ongoing professional development of the business.
  • Participate in product trials and seminars for technological advancement and impart knowledge promptly.
  • Maintain certifications which contribute to overall company technical accreditations such as Cisco ATP, Microsoft gold partner etc.
