This is an opportunity to deliver great UI tools to tens of millions users and to leverage your passion and deep knowledge in.NET and Visual Studio.

This team owns much more than the UI technology - the product owns a portfolio of design time and runtime technologies. You will be working at the cross-roads of the client's huge Developer Division as these components are a critical part of the end-to-end developer experience.

OVERVIEW:

As a member of the team you will have many opportunities to have a significant impact on the product. You will design and implement very dependable, high-performance solutions for runtime and design time components of Windows Forms, making sure that division-wide key initiatives such as performance, theming, etc, are well supported. You will learn and leverage Visual Studio extensibility, have opportunities to become a domain expert in the online and internal forums and interact face-to-face with customers. As a member of this team you will need to interact with many partner teams and premier customers. Therefore, a successful candidate must be an effective communicator.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a professional software developer
  • Strong C# coding and knowledge of .NET, expert level design and debugging skills
  • Excellence at critical thinking and problem solving
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Experience with Visual Studio extensibility a plus

This is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of extension.
