Our client, a leading Telecom Company is currently seeking an IT Service Architect to join their team based in Dublin on a contract basis IT Service Architect
The role is required to lead on the introduction and design of service and support functions for a major managed service accounts. This role will include the design of the service support processes, organisation, and service introduction for services provided to a single large customer. It is an exciting and fast paced opportunity, ideal for someone with existing experience IT Service Management, Service Desk, and/or service support functions.
Role/Opportunity:
- Lead IT and Communications managed service architecture and design activities
- Support the programme, account, and technical architects in defining the service support structures for existing and new IT services.
- Able to knowledgeably discuss service and support processes with Customers at workshops, meetings and service presentations.
- Make a significant contribution to team and managed service initiatives bringing suggestions and be part of programmes to drive efficiency, service improvement, new market propositions, and cost transformation and innovation in the design life cycle
- Deliver a well defined set of service design/architecture documents in a timely manner presenting an end to end seamless service
- May deliver presentations to the market
- Provide leadership and output required for small to medium complex projects when required
- May contribute to planning for team training and development to meet evolving business objectives
- ITILv3 foundation and optionally service design accreditation
Desirables:
- May have ITILv3 expert or ISO20000 accreditation
- May have one or more other industry recognised certifications in own discipline eg ISO, ITIL, PRINCE2
- May lead IT Service Maturity consultancy services to customers as required
- Lead and/or support the business in Service Improvement Initiatives
