Description
Our client located in Wilmington, DE is looking for a Network Engineer for a 4 month contract assignment.
JOB DUTIES:
The person will be responsible for normal change and maintenance duties in the Cisco, Checkpoint, and F5 estates. These include Firewall rule changes, port VLAN assignments, etc. Candidate will be meeting with internal staff on the business requirements side and technical teams to do activities such as Firewall rule changes, port VLAN assignments DNS entries,etc, as well as seeing that those changes are being implemented. Candidate will be making sure that settings on Switches are compliant with the company's guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years experience
- Checkpoint experience
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of CCNA certification
- Candidates must have experience working in mid-large sized companies
BONUS:
- CCNP certification
- F5 load balancer experience
