Description
SW Validation Engineer
Our direct client is a leader in the High-tech chip manufacturing industry. Currently they are looking for 3 talented SW validation Engineers to validate device drivers and set up/execute Windows Logo Kit tests.
Software Validation tasks to include:
Writing test plans/cases
Review/update
Execution of testing
Prepare and posting results
debugging as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software drivers validation and debugging, automating tests, and Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL)/Windows Logo Kit (WLK), etc.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (especially in validation)
- Understanding requirements, ability to write test cases and execute
- Software quality assurance methodologies
- Experience in Windows Internals OS (preferred)
- Knowledge of Windows Driver Model (WDM)
- C and C++ skills on Windows
- Experience in validating drivers, apps and end-to-end products
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
C, C++ development
