Mid-level Software Engineer/Web Browser
Our direct client is a high-visibility computer components manufacturing company seeking an Engineer to contribute to the design and development of web based test suites and UI Content for content inspection browser add-on.
Responsibilities will include development of web pages and corollary Server Side functionality to support testing, tuning, and demonstration of content inspection plug-in for browsers. Also development of custom browser error pages and UI for Plug-in Install and Admin.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years work related experience
- Familiarity web security vulnerabilities and exploits such as XSS, CSRF, Clickjacking, etc.
- Expertise in JavaScript and web technologies for the browser (HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX)
- Expertise with PHP, ASP.NET, or similar Server Side web technologies
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with browser technologies and internals: extensions, plugins
- Experience with Custom Browser Error pages
- Experience developing UI for browser Add-ons/Plug-ins or Extensions
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Length of Assignment: 3months + with possibility of extending up to 18 months max
Estimated hours per week: 40 hrs (standard hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM)
Overtime is not permitted unless pre-approved
