Highly reputable and growing company located in Roswell has an immediate need for a Senior VB.NET Programmer/Analyst. In this role, you will work on a dev and IT team that is going to be expanded over the next year, as the company is consolidating the Department to Atlanta. Your primary focus will be to improve and replace one of the company's in-house business applications for the enterprise. You will get involved with both new development along with maintenance and have the chance to play a hand with architecture and design as well (experience not required!).

Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test and deploy system software and applications in VB.NET.
- Develop clear & accurate functional requirements, technical specifications, and development estimates for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
- Create and execute test cases to ensure thoroughness and quality of systems.
- Create and maintain data and process flow diagrams.
- Communicate project status & issues to a variety of audiences using various media.
- Problem solve and participate in process and system discussions with team members and leadership.
- Can act as a mentor to other developers as needed.
- Maintain integrity of enterprise applications by adhering to configuration management and change control procedures.
- Strong multi-tasker and can work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in OO Design and demonstrated proficiency in the full SDLC.
- Knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Team Foundation Server, C# or VB.NET, ASP.NET
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Server 2008 (including heavy usage of stored procedures)
- Must have experience with Visual Studio 2010

- Knowledge and experience with developing web applications using other .NET technologies and XML.
- Experience working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with experience with SOA.
- Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation of best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Pluses :
- WCF, WPF and WWF.
- Retail app experience.
- Biztalk 2006 (or higher) or other Middleware.
