An experienced Senior Service Manager is required on a 12 month fixed term contract basis to join a Global Banking Group. As the Senior Service Manager you must have previous experience working for a Blue Chip company/large organisation and managed key relationships with suppliers and services including performance management and proven delivery capabilities. Experience in the Credit Risk area would be an advantage for this position.

Overall purpose of the Senior Service Manager

  • As the Senior Service Manager you will be optimising the usage of Suppliers/Services - maximising value from their products and solutions whilst minimising costs within the constraints of locally prevailing regulations and codes of practice.
  • To drive the team in the day to day management of the Credit Risk supplier/service community; always maintaining strict adherence to the supplier management policy, service provider contractual commitments and business requirements
  • To ensure that all incidents are managed across the Credit Risk community in a clear, concise and timely manner underpinned with a robust and appropriate communication structure
  • Wholly own and deliver a stable supplier/service model which provides a foundation for future business growth in line with strategy
  • Ensure that Credit Risk areas across the supply chain work effectively together to deliver an excellent customer experience

What you will need for the Senior Service Manager

  • The Senior Service Manager will need to have Credit Risk and/or, Supplier/Service management to include performance management and proven delivery capabilities
  • Experience of working with third parties
  • Proven ability to effectively work across virtual teams and organizations at a variety of levels as well as being able to take initiative and lead at an individual level
  • Ability to influence at a variety of levels
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement initiatives and experience of change management
  • Experience of managing multiple suppliers to deliver an end to end service
  • Detailed knowledge of Credit Risk within a financial services organization
