My client is a large Insurance Company and they require a Strategy Consultant who has delivered at associate. My client is looking for someone who has previously worked for a leading strategy firm (BCG, Mckinsey, Bains ect) with 3 or 4 years experience.

Purpose of the role:
*To drive and support the delivery of key strategic projects which add value to the Business.
*To lead the issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, communication and development of recommendations to support and enable decision making.
*To be a catalyst for change and a thought leader working with and partnering colleagues and teams across the business.
*To provide ad-hoc analysis and support to senior management/executives as needed

Key Accountabilities
*Working with colleagues in Strategy and the business to identify the key issues that need to be resolved across priority areas.
*Leading the problem solving and work structuring to ensure that the methodology and approach is both efficient and effective
*Supporting the issue analysis and problem structuring elements of the overall project by taking the lead for core areas of work.
*Undertaking core analysis and commercial evaluation of opportunities and priorities
*Providing insight and leadership on the "so whats" of the analysis to enable the key insights to be identified
*Leading the story lining and structuring of presentations that provide compelling and fact-based evidence in support of the recommendations.
*Facilitating and enabling workshops, discussions and working sessions with colleagues with a clear focus on engagement and output.
*Providing process leadership on key projects and pieces of work.
*Researching both the internal and external (market, competitor, customer) business environments, identifying key issues that may impact the business and its current strategy
*Assessing and helping to manage prospective acquisitions, disposals, JV partnerships and investment opportunities in both core and new business areas
*Supporting the department's role as a centre of excellence in strategic thinking and planning

The role requires a high level of energy and focus. The ability to work in teams is critical with the confidence and experience to provide analytical and problem solving skills to key projects. The role requires experience of working with clients or colleagues in cross functional teams. The role presents opportunities for mentoring/coaching more junior/less experienced colleagues.
