Description
My client is a leading UK bank and requires a professional interim with experience of implementing a data privacy framework.
The main duties of the role:
- Accountable for ensuring the bank is best able to protect personally identifiable data of employees and candidates and ensure compliance within our Global business
- Ensure that the implementation of One HR and the new Service Delivery Model with data transfer and access across countries and business clusters can be achieved in time with project deployment plans
- Provide a consolidated view of the various data protection rules and regulations and privacy laws in the countries that the bank does business with.
- Assist the bank to find a balance between collecting, sharing, and transferring the information necessary to facilitate business while at the same time protecting it from exposure to those without a legitimate need-to-know.
- Develop a systematic approach to ensure that all compliance requirements are met and ensure data protection compliance is seen as an integral part of all HR Operations procedures whilst minimising any additional burden
- Develop & implement stage gates at appropriate vendor engagement processes and post vendor selection
- Implement privacy impact assessments for HR Operations and related vendors processing HR-related data
- Develop audit requirements for vendors processing HR-related data to ensure compliance
- Manage engagement with internal and external consultants and legal counsel
Qualifications and skills:
- Certified Information Privacy Professional CIPP essential
- Detailed knowledge of EU data protection directive
- Working knowledge of privacy legal/regulatory requirements
