A part time credit controller is required to work for a Travel company based in Central London on a 3-4 month temporary basis with the potential for the role to go permanent. Working 20-24 hours per week (flexible on days and hours), this position has arisen due to growth within the company and the need for someone to assist over the summer holiday period. Working in a team of 4 in finance and reporting directly into the Finance Director you will be responsible for handling the credit control function for the corporate side of the business.

The successful candidate will also get involved in covering the purchase ledger work so any experience of purchase ledger is advantageous.

The main duties and skills required are as follows:

Liaising with hotels globally to chase for overdue payments both via email and telephone
Liaising with the sales and operations department to establish overdue payments from clients
Key responsibility in reducing debtor days
Dealing with any client queries
Assisting with the accounts payable function
Knowledge of the Travel or leisure industry is desirable
Any additional foreign languages is advantageous

This role is to start ASAP so you will need to be immediately available. This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running in this role or someone who has had exposure to credit control who is keen to prove themselves in a growing company.
