Application Support Analyst. London Banking
Application Support, Front Office, FX, EFX, SQL, Unix, 1st 2nd 3rd Line.
My Top Tier Investment Banking client is looking for a Front Office application support candidate of the very highest order.
This is a hugely demanding role and requires a candidate who can stand up and be counted in a very fast paced environment.
You will be carrying out 1st 2nd 3rd line duties and be expected to know the application support arena inside out.
This role requires a character who's prepared to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when traders have issues. Very much a Front Office role so technical ability is a given and this is expected to be complemented with excellent business knowledge.
Asset class knowledge is key and you will be tested on your knowledge of the FX market.
Deep Unix/Linux and SQL skills are a must and again you will be tested on this.
Interview stages are vigorous so what's written on CVs is expected to be backed up in interview stages.
