Working within the life science industry for a market leading company. You will be responsible for providing your Environmental Health & Safety expertise within the review, update and alignment of the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment (RA) documentation.Requirements/job duties
* To co-ordinate and integrate specific EHS initiatives around Risk assessment and Task analysis aligned with the overall business strategy.
* To help develop, define and implement EHS related policy at site level.
* To provide technical advice where required on matters relating to EHS
* To assure EHS systems are robust and comply with all applicable regulatory and internal standards.
* To communicate and interact with other business functions to implement business solutions to achieve business goals.
* To review the organisations/department's health and safety procedures/performance, then act in a timely manner to correct identified weaknesses
Education
Educated to a good general standard with wide multi industry EHS experience ideally gained within an engineering or technical environment, minimum of recognised H&S qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH, IIRSM) with relevant professional membership.
Minimum of 3 years EHS experience in safety compliance with multi function responsibilities such as Noise, Fire and Machinery within a regulated industry.
Demonstrated experience in achieving and maintaining compliant EHS Systems, and customer driven response in a Multi-National Corporation.
Extensive knowledge and experience in risk assessment and task analysis a must for this role
Excellent written, computer and verbal communication skills would be an advantage, as much of the required outputs will be published on excel and word documents which will need to be effectively communicated across various functions.
