QA Testers with QTP & SQL - W2 Consulting ONLY!4 month contract with possible extensions!
Join a premier Fortune 500 company on a special project as a QA Tester with QTP and SQL.
You MUST be able to work as a W2 consultant to GTN Technical Staffing.
As the Quality Assurance Tester, you will work with the development team and business users to perform QA testing based on documented business requirements.
Create and maintain test plans and scripts, and carry out hands-on testing efforts both manually and using automated test tools to exercise software.
Create and update defect tracking logs and work with development teams and users to ensure that all defects are resolved.
REQUIRES:
- A thorough understanding of SDLC and SQA methodology
- Excellent English and interaction skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent QA analytics ( understand big picture/enterprise integration )
- Strong SQL writing skills
- Strong hands on experience with QTP
- Strong VBScript experience (not just VB Scripting recording)
- Strong Data Analysis skills
- SQA Methodology
- Assist in the identification of QA tasks and associated level of effort
- Prepare and execute acceptance testing of new or revised modules
- Provide feedback to the development group on usability, functionality and quality of user experience
- Able to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis. Ability to negotiate priorities and resolve conflict
