Our client is currently seeking for a contract opportunity a UNIX Administrator Team leader who has a proven track record working within both Solaris & Linux. This particular candidate will have good working knowledge working within Windows & VMware administration. To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in a team lead position and be able to provide technical mentorship, knowledge & expertise. Also works well under pressure & time constraints & can prioritize competing priorities appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary degree in Computer Science with 5-8+ years of related IT work exp
  • 5 years exp managing & leading teams
  • 10 years as a UNIX administrator in an environment with more than 50 Unix Servers
  • Solaris, Linux, Windows, VMware Operating Systems exp
  • Outstanding problem determination, troubleshooting & resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communications & listening skills
  • Strong customer service skills & follow-up
