Sales Executive, Managed Services  -  must have 4+ years' experience selling Infrastructure Solutions

We are expand our team in Ottawa and are looking for a Managed Services Sales Executive that can help transform businesses through the sale of our managed services and professional services offerings for the private sector in the National Capital region. The candidate will have a strong understand of managed services and a successful track record selling these solutions for a minimum of 4 years.

  • A committed, well-focused and confident team player with a successful track record in sales that consistently exceeds quota.
  • Must have a positive, energetic attitude with a strong desire to contribute and the experience in aggressively building and managing an account base.
  • Well versed in having business discussions in positioning managed services solution.
  • The candidate will be primarily responsible for new business development in the National Capital region.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing new accounts by hunting and nurturing effective
    relationships with key customers and influencers.
  • Develop and present proposals with timely and effective follow-up to a closing decision.
  • Be prepared to sell against competitive offerings in the region. The candidate will execute on the companies
  • "go-to-market" strategy and target potential projects within the companies delivery capabilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining information in the companies CRM to ensure accurate client information and forecasting.
  • Attend local industry events and seminars to develop contacts and stay current with local business.
  • Participate in regular internal training sessions as well as obtain appropriate sales certifications from manufacturer partners specific to the solution offerings

Desired Skills & Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT Services & Solutions company.
  • The candidate must have 4+ years' experience selling Infrastructure Solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to influence and negotiate confidently.
  • Ideal candidate thinks independently, is articulate and passionate, is energetic with a positive attitude, and is a rational and persuasive strategic thinker.
  • Ability to interface with the services delivery team, sales, clients, partners as well as the leadership team.
  • A strong plus will be the ability to carry a personal network of clients that can be immediately called on
