A number of Commercial Managers are required to work within our clients Rail Commercial Contracts division which is responsible for managing the 16 passenger franchises. These roles will generally lead the relationship with one of passenger rail franchise operators.
the following skills and experience are mandatory:
*Complex contract management, commercially astute and able to deal with disputes/claims
*Able to plan and manage obligations under multi million pound contracts
*Brief Ministers/Directors
*Able to interact and challenge CEO/FEO of train companies
*Relationship/stakeholder management in a delivery/commercial environment
*Working with the wider transport and/or rail sector
*Evidence of working with complexity - whether in a delivery, project or contract management environment
*Able to plan workloads and manage large risks
Desirable Skills/Knowledge:
*Experience of working with railway companies;
*Experience of working within regulated industries (and with regulated contracts).
