Position: Stress Engineer
Location: Warrington
Term: 6 months
Job Description:
Our client a Leading Engineering Company are currently seeking an experienced Stress Engineer and will work closely with the Mechanical Design Engineers on the projects to influence the design definition.
Your main responsibilities will be to capture task requirements, and translate into design intent. Deliver analysis of mechanical components and mechanical structures, conducting Stress analysis, fatigue, fracture and seismic analyses.
Essential Skills:
*Stress Engineer experience including fatigue, fracture and seismic
*Knowledge of Design Codes and standards
*Knowledge in structural integrity, failure mechanisms analysis of components and systems
*Excellent communication skills
*Experience in ANSYS or ABAQUS
Desirable skills:
*Mathcad or Finglow
*Leading of Work Packages
*Nuclear experience
