National retail organization is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong background in designing user experiences. This is a 12 month plus assignment in the Johns Creek area.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate to evolve current retail software applications to better the user experience; create pleasing interfaces based on user-centered design principles; create designs that promote ease of use and optimized user experience.
  • Work with Product Managers and other Developers to deliver new software application features; modify interface changes that meet the needs of customers and business objectives.
  • Create easy-to-user interface design solutions for complex software applications; analyze retail (merchandising) business requirements and translate them visually through the user interface design.
  • Organize design details into user design specs that are to be used as blueprint for development; drive application design process; define specs, guidelines, and standards; turn ideas into design.
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes.
  • Understand application design including usability and industry standards, architecture, and navigation of various application platforms.
Required Skills Include:
  • Human factors background.
  • 6 years of experience in design of varying software applications with varying interfaces and technology; heavy UIX design ability.
  • Wireframes, mock up and strong prototyping experience.
  • HTML, CSS.
  • Experience designing UI for the following technical environment - Winforms;Synch Fusion forms; familiar with C#, VB.NET; (CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), Dynamic HTML, ASP.NET, and JavaScript a plus); Silverlight frameworks, AJAX, DOM Scripting, Struts and Spring frameworks.
