Description
The Finance Opportunity Consultant (OC) is responsible for proactively working with pursuit teams to develop and support creative commercial strategies in IT outsourcing opportunities in a manner that strengthens and protects corporate business and financial interests. The OC will assess all the available financial information of the client as well as the competitive market intelligence to develop the Price to Win. The OC will work closely with the pursuit team to develop and finalise the financial model, and be involved with client presentations and negotiations. The OC is expected to develop plans and models that are innovative alternatives and facilitate acceptance by the customer and internal management approval processes.
- Be proficient financial analysis and modelling skills to bring complex information from different functions and regions together and resolve critical, highly complex problems.
- Have over 5 years directly related experience in outsourcing and/or typically 5-10 years in complex Information Technology (IT) service business environment.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS with broad understanding of finance are critical to the success of this role, as is the ability to negotiate deals.
- Excellent communication skills are also essential as is the ability to form alliances with partners.
