For this contract position with a vibrant national health care company, you will provide technical security expertise across a broad range of environments and technologies.
Focus will include but not limited to:
- Technical security assessments
- Secure communications
- Hardening of infrastructure
- Securing Wireless technologies
- Hardening of O/S platforms
- Patching
- Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation
The IT Security Consultant ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service by insuring company systems, IT solutions, and data are secure. You will be part of the team implementing tools, associated policies, procedures, and monitoring that will help to insure proper use and protection of company assets and data. In addition, you will ensure delivery of exceptional service by coordinating work efforts across larger enterprise personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have ability to interact with technical staff across multiple systems and disciplines
- Must possess high degree of self-sufficiency, ownership, and pride of deliverables
- Good project delivery skills essential
- Ability to develop, work with IT to test, rollout and then manage infrastructure security baselines
- Vulnerability scanning, management and remediation experience
- Experience to provide solution architectural design, implementation, operational support for IDS/IPS
- Ability to perform technical security assessments to ensure proper working of tools and associated controls
- Experience supporting creation of an information security risk mitigation plan based on sound risk analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively and with diligence and urgency to complete task with quality
