Description
My client is a leading Portable Storage Solutions company. Due to some successful new contracts being awarded the position of Electrical Design Engineer has become available. The role is for a 6 month contract based just outside York.
The Engineer will be expected to:
- Design electrical installations for switchgear housings in the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience should include:
- HVAC
- Fire & Gas Detection and suppression
- Hazardous Rated Installations
The Design Engineer must be fully conversant with:
- AutoCAD and be able to generate detailed design layout and schematic drawings.
- Amtec electrical calculation software.
- Work as a key member of a project team.
- Interpret written specifications.
- Ideally be 17th Edition certified and other industry standards.
- Be self motivated and work with minimal supervision.
- Work to programme on one or more projects.
- Be able to communicate with the customer, give advice and understand requirements.
