SAP Netweaver Web Dynpro Developer
Job Description: Senior Development/Systems
The Order to Cash team at my client's site is looking for a highly motivated dynamic development engineer, to design, develop and test IT solutions and to join the SAP Development team.
This team is responsible for the development of all automation for provisioning and change management projects. These processes will be re-written in this project, using a SAP Netweaver, SAP Webdynpro and SAP BRFPlus environment.
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Webdynpro developer with minimum 5 years of IT development experience, who is keen to build a solid understanding of the client's products and services that require provisioning.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Analyse business requirements and relate them to IT solutions;
- Design, develop, test and install IT solutions based on customer requirements. Negotiate and agree alternatives with business analysts for requirement deviation;
- Prepare and study technical feasibility studies, Provide costing for IT development to implement business and Back Office requirements, Propose alternatives.
- Provide planning and timing on solutions and taking into account dependencies so that the team leader can manage the overall priority and capacity;
- Provide Technical assistance for OTP colleague in solving support cases or in providing estimates on IT solutions.
Education
- Bachelor/University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in IT development.
- The main importance is on ABAP Development Netweaver, ABAP Webdynpro, ABAP Objects.
Experience on the following would be an asset:
- A history in a banking or finance environment;
- ABAP Object persistence, ABAP Transformation XML, SAP WORKFLOW, SAP BRFPlus, SAP Workflow developer will be an asset.
Professional knowledge and expertise:
- Team player;
- Be able to cope with pressure;
- Excellent Development skills;
- Excellent knowledge of SAP programming language ABAP and ABAP object;
- Knowledge of development techniques is an asset (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall);
- Interest in IT development strategies;
- Writing of technical specifications and design documents;
- Communication and Quality orientated (development, documentation, process follow up) are 2 important soft skills;
Language: English-speaking environment; French is an asset!
