Description
A multinational finance organisation is looking for a Finanace manager to be part of a growing team.
Anyone applying for this role must have experience in the following areas.
- Preparation of Board Committee reporting pack on a quarterly basis.
- Understand the accounting consequences and related disclosure in the Group reporting environment over proposed transactions affecting those companies.
- Liaise with group tax to assist them in preparation of quarterly and year end corporation tax information.
- Production of the annual external reporting and disclosures.
- Basic understanding of finance theory and how financial institutions operate.
- IFRS knowledge, including IAS 32/39 financial instruments and IAS 27.
- Basic understanding of the role of the HCG in deploying capital and harvesting dividends to/from the Group.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience of financial reporting.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Financial services background preferred but not essential.
- Graduate or equivalent professional qualification.
- 0-1 years PQE.
SKILLS
- Good written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate accounting concepts.
- Ability to deal with and analyse unstructured problems and queries and to question and challenge existing procedures.
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively as part of a team
