Landing Gear Extension Retraction System (LGERS) Validation and Verification (V + V) Support
We currently have a requirement for a Landing Gear Extension Retraction System (LGERS) Validation and Verification (V + V) Support to work in the area of Bristol for a 6 Month contract.
Role Description
We are looking for a Validation and Verification Support Engineer to carry out the task of validation and verification on the LGERS to ensure that a robust development process is adhered to in order to achieve early product maturity.
The scope of V + V efforts include:
- Define the validation and verification means and methods for the requirements
- Plan the V&V activities for the development phase of Landing Gear Systems.
- Create information relating to the V + V of the LGERS System (Validation, traceability, design and verification and product verification).
- Provide guidelines to help the system designers in establishing of the strategy of validation and verification, and to ensure the traceability.
- Update specifications on behalf of the design team.
- Contribute to the certification of the systems by presenting the Validation and Verification Summary in accordance with Certification Requirements.
Experience
Use of DOORS and test analysis tools (Excel, Matlab, LTM) for the V + V purposes.
