We are looking for a role model, competence leader to build a fundament of Product Engineering. A specialist that build a product engineering competence center.
brief project description: At corporate level a huge program has been launched on cost reduction. One of the projects that identified the needs for this hire is the testcost reduction program. Key questions there: what needs to be tested and why? This needs full understanding of design, testing as well as processing. We need to come a minimum set of tests that does lead to the requested quality level.

scope of work: Within Wafer Technology & Foundry Organisation we are building up a competence center for Product Engineering. The Advanced Product Engineer is driving Product Engineering competence at high level. In cooperation with Business Lines, key projects are defined to systematically further advance the body of knowledge on Product Engineering.
Key area of responsibilities:
- Owner of Product Engineering Technology Roadmap
- Guidance of Virtual Teams across NXP
- Training and Deployment of Product Engineering Knowledge. Working with all Business Units, Corporate R&D, WT&FO colleagues and other Operations colleagues (waferfab, testfab, failure analysis, ..).
