Background

Providing full end to end email migration to Client's email users, and 2nd/3rd line migration assistance.

Role

To migrate a high number of clients in an enterprise environment from various Legacy platforms to one key standard platform using Quest/Microsoft Migration Toolsets and documented procedures. To provide support to floor walkers assisting migrated mail users and liaise with support teams on other campus site locations to ensure the smooth deployment of migrated clients.

Essential

  • 2nd /3rd line desktop support experience
  • Post Deployment Support/Floor Walking
  • Strong Microsoft Exchange knowledge essential
  • Strong Quest EMW/MME toolset knowledge essential
  • Strong communication and customer focus skills with emphasis on end client
  • Ability to work under their own initiative without constant guidance
  • Ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with other support and development teams
  • Active Directory user account administration experience
  • Ability to cope under pressure in a highly visible environment
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Ability to work out of hours

Desirable

  • Previous Banking experience
  • Project or rollout experience in the IT environment
  • Blackberry Enterprise Server experience
  • ITIL, MCSE accreditations.
