Description
Our client, based in Surrey is looking for an Expense Reporting Accountant to join them for an 8 month fixed term contract.This role will control all business non-claim expenditure, including the production of detailed annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for Head of Departments, measuring and monitoring adherence to those budgets/forecasts as well as ensuring the accuracy for month and year end financial accounting and records.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- You must be a qualified or part qualified Accountant or actively studying to be one.
- Excellent PC skills including Excel and general ledger packages.
- Previous experience of working within a Financial Services or Insurance environment is essential.
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis software such as TM1, Cognos and Oracle Financials is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and excellent negotiation skills are crucial.
- Must be flexible and be able to adapt to change.
