Description
WA Consultants has an urgent requirement for a high level Software Architect for a period of 3 months to drive the architectural design, optimisation, etc of a client's products launching during 2012.
Accommodation is included with this contract.
The main purpose of this placement is to provide leadership, processes, tools, best practises and skills transfer to the Client's software development team. Ultimately it should result in a highly skilled local software development talent pool that is versed in the latest software development methodologies, processes, best practices and tools. The technical managers would also be equipped in project life cycle management skills and in use of project management tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Project Server.
The successful applicant should be focussed on continuous integration as a coach, mentor and leader by example in the use of best practice while creating maintainable solutions. Specialise in showing developers & stakeholders how to implement the full spectrum of tools and methodologies that contribute to a continuously integrated, flexible development process.

Technical Skills
*Several years experience of building line of business applications as a software architect/consultant.
*Experience in test driven development (TDD) and agile methodologies
*Experience of using domain driven design (DDD) methodologies and patterns. Also have good BDD experience.
*Excellent experience in using ORM frameworks such as Nhibernate, Linq, Entity Framework & Ibatis.
*Commercial experience in the newer .NET technologies of Linq, Silverlight, WCF and ASP.NET MVC.
*Knowledgeable in Windows, Java and Android mobile development project development and management.
