Cellular Device Diagnostics Test Engineer
9 month contract in Alpharetta, GA

This position will be responsible for testing and validating device diagnostics on multiple device OS make and models.

  • Execute testing with new and existing device diagnostics enabled devices to validate metric, analytic accuracy and functionality.
  • Produce reports as needed to provide status on device diagnostics enabled device testing.
  • Work with internal ATT Subscriber Product Engineering, device OEMs, chipset OEMs and device diagnostics to drive agent, metric, and analytics issues to resolution.
  • Develop and maintain processes for testing and validation of device diagnostics enabled devices.
  • Work closely with device diagnostics OEM and ATT Subscriber Product Engineering to drive improvements in device diagnostics client integration and testing requirements.
  • Work closely with device diagnostics OEM to drive improvements in device diagnostics Back End to ensure agent analytics accuracy and stability.
  • Work with internal AT&T stakeholders to identify and prioritize device diagnostics client issues and drive to resolution.
  • Develop and maintain tools to perform and manage device diagnostics client testing and validation.
Experience Needed
  • Knowledge of different device operating systems Required.
  • Understanding of GSM, UMTS, and LTE Wireless Required.
  • Knowledge cellular device architecture Required.
  • Device testing and qualification procedures Required.
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint Required.
  • Proficiency with Alteryx Desired.
  • Proficiency with Sql Development Desired.
  • Knowledge of device diagnostics software Required.
