Global implementation and data integration firm in Alpharetta is seeking a top notch Security Consultant for their growing practice. This permanent hands-on technical position involves working onsite and remotely with customers on large enterprise projects implementing our solutions from inception to completion as well as advising on data security and compliance issues. The position requires knowledge of data security techniques, distributed and mid range architectures, database technologies, PCI and regulatory knowledge.

As a customer facing position, excellent communication, customer expectation management, responsiveness to customer needs, being proactive in anticipating technical challenges, being meticulous and having a consultative approach are extremely imperative to your success in this position. A basic understanding of project management and the ability to follow project delivery methodology is also required. This is a permanent position with 60% travel expected.

Responsibilities
The primary focus of this position will be on providing remote or onsite security advisory, product configuration, product installation, training, and issue resolution services our clients.
Understand customer (business and technical) needs around data security, information flow processes and infrastructure requirements and design an enterprise solution.
Assist clients in planning by helping them understand implementation roadmaps and activities towards a successful project.
Work with clients to define hardware, system, software and network configurations required for implementation of our solution(s).
Provide consulting services to clients and prospects as they relate to the configuration and functionality of our solution.
Implement enterprise solutions at customer sites with high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. Configure and test software solutions for delivery to clients.
Work with internal cross functional Development/Services teams to resolve Change Requests and other custom deliverables.
Deliver Proof of Concepts on the usage of solution as it relates to customer implementations.
Analyze and resolve complex technical problems while practicing excellent client relation skills.
Produce technical specifications for customizations as necessary.
Thinks out of the box to design and develops solutions for customers.
Enable customer success with our products by providing knowledge transfer on implemented solution to customer technical SME.
Work with Product Development teams to resolve open issues during the client engagements.
Collaborate with customer support team, engineering and product development to include resolutions in future product releases.

Requirements
Strong technical acumen and the ability to learn and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multiple products and services.
Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in customer implementations of software products with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry.
Experience implementing Encryption, Key Management, Tokenization software or other security products and devices like cryptographic cards and hardware based encryption devices.
Minimum 3 years experience & knowledge in working with RDBMS (SQL Server & Oracle preferred).
Minimum 3 years experience & knowledge in navigating and administering Unix and Windows environments.
Experience with data security and encryption best practices, SSL certificate management, and Key Management.
Experience with requirements gathering, solution design and product implementations.
Experience and strong working knowledge of PCI, PII and HIPAA regulations worldwide.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
CISSP, CISM, or GSEC certification preferred.
Must be willing to travel 60-80%.
