We are looking to immediately hire a Senior SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant to work a long-term rolling assignment in Sorel Tracy, Quebec, Canada.

This would suit a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant with at least 8-10+ years of focussed experience. Bilingual (French/English) Candidates would be preferred.

Purpose of role;

The Senior FI/CO Functional consultant for deployment will be required to validate business requirements against a core design, define business process models for implementing the core design; provide input into definition of additional design items not covered under the core design. Deploy the Client Business Solution into a given business unit(s). This role is specific to the Client functional area related to SAP FI, CO and FA core modules.

This role will work closely with SAP FI/CO Functional Specialist, Functional Delivery Lead and the Solution Architect to understand the definition, design and business imperative of the BU rollout and implement according to requirements.

This position is for a very experienced FI/CO consultant. Preferably more than 8 years and 6 full project implementations with the ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in all aspects of a SAP implementation and the relationships between each, including: Blueprinting, Design, Technical, Integration, Testing, Migration etc.

SAP Functional Experience:

- SAP FI/CO business process and configuration experience.

- Specific SAP Modules:
General Ledger
Banking: Housebanks and Electronic Bank Statement (search strings and DME format trees)
Cash and Liquidity Management
Fixed Assets
Special Purpose Ledger
Cost Element Accounting
Cost Center Accounting
Profit Centre Accounting
Internal Orders

Integration of FI/CO into:

  • Product Costing
  • Profitability Analysis
  • Material Management
  • Sales and Distribution
  • Payroll
  • Plant Maintenance
  • Production Planning
  • Project Systems
  • Investment Management
  • Demonstrated ability to have implemented purchasing and sales tax solutions in multiple countries
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage team members
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritises the assignment of tasks to meet overall team schedule
  • Advanced communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide advice, consult and negotiate with senior management and manage key relationships between stakeholders involved in an upgrade/implementation environment.
  • Ability to work closely with other members of a team.
  • Able to demonstrate skills in assessing impacts across an existing Live system and to provide risk mitigation strategies for conflicts.
  • Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, management and executive, team member resources, and external 3rd party groups.

Desirable:

SAP Configuration/Implementation experience in the following modules:

- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Travel Management
- SEM BCS
- Implementation of FI/CO in multiple countries
- Participation in Global SAP Implementations
