My client is currently looking for a Programme Manager with a strong Engineering background for a 6-12 month contract initially with a good scope for extension. The role will be primarily based in Leeds.
Candidates must have a very strong engineering background leading into Programme management with Programme's managed at a minimum of £50M. Candidates should have an Engineering Degree and be certified with a MSP.
The project itself needs someone to come in urgently and hit the ground running hence the need for this proven experience. As the organisation has a flat structure the successful candidate will have very strong interpersonal skills. From a personal perspective the candidate will need to be highly analytical due to the complex nature of the project.
Candidates, when interviewed, will need to prove their own worth with evidence and paint a clear picture of past programmes they have delivered. In addition they will need to clearly show the engineering relevance of their previous experience.
Rates are negotiable but should fall within the £600-£700 price bracket for this particular project.
