Currently our client in Norway is urgently in need of a Commissioning Engineer as per the below description for a 12 month contract.Commissioning Engineer
Job description:
- Assistance to BGR commissioning manager
- Responsible for commissioning procedure production, onshore and offshore scope - follow-up of the engineers that are writing these procedures
- Responsible for planning of onshore commissioning, including provision of all necessary temporary equipment required for onshore commissioning of compressor module
- Assistance to commissioning manager in planning and performing overall commissioning preparation
Qualifications:
- Multidiscipline technical background with engineering experience from preferably white disciplines (instrument/automation/electrical).
- Experienced person with minimum 5 years of similar experience from Norwegian offshore projects.
- Good multidiscipline understanding is required
- Software: ProCoSys
- Language: Norwegian language skills advantageous, Engish is required

Project Information:
Building and installing a compressor module on the platform in the North Sea. This will contribute to improving the recovery rate and accelerating production at the gas field by allowing for production with reduced wellhead pressure. The engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract also includes an option for tie-in of a condensate pipeline to the future Valemon platform.
