We are looking for a E-commerce Consumer Online Channel Manager. 6-12 month contract based in Dublin.
  • Defines the Online sales and Base Management programme for the Consumer market that transforms company into an online provider of choice
  • Identifies and qualifies Online opportunities and requirements within the Consumer market sales strategy to determine a prioritised Online programme, delivering optimal mix of growth (new business models), channel substitution, cost savings and customer journey improvements
  • Ensures alignment and synergy across all relevant programmes/departments, including Online Capability, Product, Marketing, Technology, Insight & Analytics etc.
  • Reports performance of programme initiatives and campaigns against objectives to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement
  • Stays informed of industry trends and developments and researches appropriate opportunities for eircom.
  • Manages virtual working and project teams to ensure that project milestones and objectives are always achieved
  • Ensures standardised requests are efficiently managed with direct workflow into Online Delivery.
  • Optimise use of programme resource on value-add/non-standard programme initiatives
  • Supports and develops longer-term Consumer Online sales strategy through identification and qualification of online requirements and opportunities.
  • Develops new business cases as required and manages the end to end programme life cycle for all new propositions.

2. Operationally manages delivery of the Consumer Online sales and base management channel

  • Responsible for setting and subsequent delivery of Online sales channel targets, weekly, quarterly, annually
  • Understands customer behaviour and pain points in key sales journeys and actively addresses these to improve site conversion
  • Strives to continually improve conversion rates and repeat use of the Online channel through greater understanding of online customer segments and motivations.
  • Produces operational reports on Online channel KPI performance and uses data to highlight variations to plan and develop improvement initiatives with various stakeholders.
  • Works with relevant business areas to drive extra customer value and channel differentiation in the Online channel.
  • Has a clear view and understanding of issues driving order breakage and continually works towards reducing these through journey enhancements, functionality development and Back Office process improvement.
  • Ensures all sales pages are optimised for SEO and user experience (including facilitation of multi-channel journeys).
  • Delivers targeted benefits committed to in the online Consumer sales programme
  • Works with Marketing to deliver and continually measure the effectiveness of a digital marketing strategy (to include a mix of online, ATL and BTL advertising and PR) ensuring online requirements are met in the most efficient and effective manner.

3. Relationship Management

  • Ensures a positive, collaborative work environment across the online team and project teams and actively identifies and shares best practices
  • Gains Consumer market approval and sponsorship of the Consumer online sales programme
  • Establishes and maintains appropriate governance structure and communications/reporting processes to ensure full programme visibility within the Consumer market
  • Manages stakeholder Matrix across the Consumer & Small Business market, and other areas of eircom (markets, strategy & eircom.NET), Technology, Regulatory, Legal, Marketing and 3rd party SI's and vendors
