Description
Our client, a well known company in Cheshire requires a Supplier/Procurement Manager to lead all Supplier Management activity relating to a number of large suppliers.
We are looking for a Supplier Manager with the following skills only to apply:
- Good knowledge/procurement background including understanding service levels, service risks, technologies used and commercial mechanisms
- Knowledge of the category marketplace including supplier capability and market trends
- Experienced at managing performance through commercial agreements
- Good financial, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Good at interacting with senior stakeholders in the client and suppliers areas
- Ability to develop collaborative working relationships across the organisation
- Knowledge of writing and structuring contracts
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Results oriented
- Proactive and dynamic
