For an in-house developed solution, we are looking for an experienced J2EE Software Engineer who is able to develop qualitative solutions based on business requirements related to a telecom web-based environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Understand business requirements
Architect solutions based on received requirements
Develop qualitative web-solutions
Develop according to TDD
Document the delivered code/solution
Perform development testing
Experience & expertise
University, or equivalent by experience, ideally Master Informatics
At least 5 years of experience with JAVA web-based development
eCommerce experience is a must
Profound knowledge of all standard J2EE and JAVA tooling and framework
Hands-on experience with OO Design and UML
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experience with continuous integration and automated test & build
Hands-on experience with Agile development (Scrum) principles & methodologies
Following experiences are considered an asset:
Telecommunication experience is an asset
XML, SQL and Oracle experience is an asset
WebSphere Portal and JSR286 development is an asset
