Service engineer Green IT
- Focus on the implementation of the yearly defined green-IT project for WPM
- Besides the green-IT implementation you are responsible for compiling and the implementation of workplace and infrastructure components that are required to provide a service. Key is to take an end-to-end view on a service and to determine together with Service Delivery Managers, Designers and Technology experts and infrastructure architects how the service will be provided. Focus here on special requests
- As the Workplace is the integrating platform for all IT applications and products towards the end user, your responsibility is to assure the integration for the products & services of your domain.
- give advice concerning the technical feasibility and the impact of business requests on the workplace Environment
- describe specifications during projects in accordance with policy regulations and strategy
- Initiate and follow-up development, tests and documentation of new components and solutions, and ensure proper handover to the operational teams and the Service Delivery Manager
- You conclude agreements with external partners (IS Service desk, One-IT, external suppliers, etc.) and ensure follow-up
- In the event of recurring incidents with significant repercussions, you take the measures necessary to achieve a permanent solution
- provide as lead of "problem teams" for problems related to your domain
- co-determine the standards for the cost-effective management of the Workstation environment.
The Application Developer is responsible for developing and testing components or parts of a larger system in accordance with the project adopted standards, definitions and specifications.
Knowledge of Green-IT labels: 3 year
Knowledge of ITIL processes and CRM: 3 year
Certificates in Green-IT:
Good knowledge on how IT departments work: about 3 year experience
Strong analytical mind, being able to tackle a problem from different angles and make decisions quickly
Focused on follow-up, control, steering.
good communication and negotiation skills
