Interim Marketing Executive - Surrey - £100-£150 a day
Our client is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their team on a part time basis of 3 days a week. Working within the NER Marketing Team the Marketing Executive will implement various marketing initiatives in order to promote the brand, generate demand and help build sales pipeline. The NER marketing function consists of the Regional Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager Scandinavia and Marketing Assistant. The NER Marketing Team contributes to the wider EMEA marketing organisation to achieve lead, opportunity and new customer targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Executing demand generation programs including email, direct mail and online campaigns
- Organising third party, Company and channel partner events including managing invitations and registrations, on-site support, set-up, breakdown and fulfilling booth duty
- Database management, campaign tracking (Sales Force)
- Drafting copy for campaigns
- Managing social and community marketing
- Co-coordinating press releases and case studies
- Sourcing new prospect contacts, vendors or general information
- Organising printed literature and give-away items
- Liaising with various organisations including the NER Marketing Team, the NER Sales Team, the NER Channel Sales Team, the Marketing Operations team based in Bangalore, the Web Team based in Bangalore, the Creative Team based in Boston, external suppliers and channel partners
Skills and knowledge
- Campaign execution
- Copywriting/strong communication skills with business level English
- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Social media
- Salesforce (Desirable)
- VTrenz (Desirable)
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing role executing campaigns
- Background in technology (Desirable)
- Experience gained at a marketing agency (Desirable)
- Bachelor's Degree/CIM qualification in Marketing (Desirable)
- Proactive self-starter, taking initiative to get things done without supervision
- Hands-on, willingness to get involved in multiple tasks as required
