OVERVIEW:
- Preparing hardware for test
Executing test cases - Reporting found defects in bug database
- Communicating with validation and software engineers
- Troubleshooting issues by actively seeking solutions
- Developing software that automates toolsets in spare time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Self-motivated and self-starting individual who can take ownership of an issue from start to finish
- Ability to write scripts and/or software code in order to automate or leverage existing toolsets
- C, C++, C# programming experience in a Windows environment
- Experience log parsing for automated test analysis
- Experience working with engineers to raise issues and analyze failures
- Test execution experience following written test plans and communicating results
- Systems preparation experience with HDD ISO/image GHOSTing, systems setup under Win7/Win8, registry manipulation, GUI testing, Win7/Win8 operative configuration, applications installs and configuration
- Understanding of source code builds, code control tools and/or build management A PLUS
