One of Canberra's most prestigious and high profile Federal Government department requires a Senior Network Engineer to start immediately! This role involves a Windows Engineer to assist the ICT branch to complete a number of technology initiatives.
In this role the successful candidate will be:
- Providing 3rd Level support to the Departments Microsoft IT Infrastructure
- Working in a Microsoft Windows Environment
- Providing user management with Active Directory support
- Supporting the department with SharePoint
- Ensuring that SLA's are met or exceeded
To be considered for this rare six month opportunity, candidates must have:
- Proven experience as an IT Network Engineer
- Experience in Windows Server, Microsoft ISA/Threat Management Gateway
- Experience in VOIP, LAN/WAN
- Experience in a large corporate or government environment
- Australian Citizenship is crucial
The successful applicant's will be offered and initial 12 month contract starting ASAP. You will also receive a rewarding hourly rate which is negotiable depending on experience and knowledge.
