Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Change Management Manager for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company for a Contract Position based in the UK

Job Description:

Responsible for coordinating the implementation of all changes to the customer network ensuring changes are implemented efficiently and in a manner that protects services and customer experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish, govern and evolve an effective, agile and cohesive Change Management process
• Own all Change Management activities, including: approval of minor change; impact assessment; chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB); production of management information / KPI’s, / Request For Changes (RFCs) /change schedule; process documentation
• Drive change process compliance via training; educate, KPIs, policies, etc.
• Identify process improvements to the change processes, procedures and tools, ensuring alignment with best practices and leveraging of tools to automate/streamline routine/repeat requests
• Collaborate with Incident Manager and Problem Manager disciplines to investigate and mitigate against change related incidents
• Co-ordinates and sets periodic requirements, objectives and targets for Change Management and underpinning technical services in line with evolving business needs
• Ensure business objectives are achieved through proactive and diligent management of change to successful introduction into the live environment, whilst protecting customer experience
• Leads change request evaluations and owns/champions the change management process
• Develops agreed service level targets and target improvements related to Change Management and underpinning services

Qualifications:

• 3rd level qualification (ideally degree in Computer Science, IT, engineering or physics)
• Significant problem management experience in a variety of IT / telecoms environments with good knowledge of industry best practice service management principles
• Extensive experience within an operations environment working within an ITIL framework
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail
• Rational and calm under pressure
