Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Managed Services Mobilisation Project Manager for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company for a Contract Position based in the UKJob Description:
Responsible for all the key mobilisation project management activities associated with the establishment of both a NOC facility and Capability Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Program / Project Manager will be responsible for a Program of Work or multiple Projects focusing on the delivery of new NOC services
• Identify project deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Manage internal and external resource in a matrix environment to achieve successful project delivery.
• Liaise with the customer to achieve successful project delivery and acceptance.
• Report on the programme status internally and externally.
• Escalate and define responses to risk that could cause the project to deviate from agreed tolerances.
• Ensure project change requests are effectively managed.
• Forecast the overall resource plan with the Product and Test line managers, and update regularly. Implement the resource plan to meet requirements.
• Develop the general effectiveness of the project department.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience of working in the telecommunications industry
• Extensive experience as a senior project manager
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification;
• Strong inter-personal skills;
• Self motivated, diligent and flexible;
• Accomplished customer facing and presentation skills;
• Strong oral and written English language skills;
• Strong awareness of ITIL methodologies & processes;
• Good IT skills, including expertise in MS-Office suite
• Expertise and experience in using MS-Project;
